ABSTRACT
Many of the preceding chapters have addressed methods of determining a production relationship from incomplete data. This has involved investigating a number of approaches to estimation, linear programming and the construction of performance indices in order to improve on the established measurement procedures currently undertaken to assess the beginnings of reform and transition of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe to market economies.
