ABSTRACT
This chapter probes into the difficult question of identifying the real-life operators behind trickster images. Following hints from classical mythology, literature and philosophy, the chapter argues that these were troglodytes. Through their activities the perplexing, enormous and deep, man-made underground structures in Cappadocia, Central Turkey, were used to incite deeply buried forces in order to use their fluxes in their transformative machinations.
