ABSTRACT
Managing and overviewing modern pop project requires proper organization. When the project is accessible, better decisions are made. In case music directors made a good mix already, that project can be used as a starting point for future mixes, after removing audio and automation. A project should almost invite music directors to tweak it. The chapter provides all the tips and tricks for working happier, faster and more efficiently. Once channel strips and regions/clips have equal colors, instruments can be found instinctively. A proper project organization allows fast and intuitive decisions. Often, a mix project consists of many audio files with the same length. After dragging them into the project, the long rectangles lack any visual information.
