The final chapter provides the concluding remarks of the book. Drawing upon previous works, the chapter provides a summary of the phenomenon of tourism and urban regeneration. The chapter then discusses the notion of urban resilience as well as the likely future of tourism and urban regeneration, with a reflection on the limits of market-driven urban growth and the implications for a finite ecosystem.
