ABSTRACT

No hierarchy. That was important to the spirit of PNP. We were all equal — just people. But saying so is to avoid the extent to which all of us are less than we are. Essence and existence are different. Equality may be a reality at the essential level. We all have an atman. But existentially it depends on disorders, distortions, plus the plane upon which persons are operating. Equality as an idea is, in most situations, crippling and imprisoning. It is to confuse the ultimate with the temporal, to ignore dormancy and destruction. It is to equate the Zen master with the Fascist brute.
