ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses how students without disabilities can serve as natural supports for students within new or existing PSE programs. We explain the concept of natural supports, roles and limitations, suggestions for recruiting natural supports, and potential accountability and evaluation procedures used within the UP Program. The chapter concludes with potential ways to coordinate overall engagement and also show appreciation in small ways to natural supports as they provide the vehicle that promotes more meaningful and inclusive college experiences.
