ABSTRACT
Numerous studies have found that when students teach material to other students they make significant learning gains. In the research, this is known as “the Protégé Effect”. However, it is worth noting that not all studies have shown this effect. Reasons for these mixed findings may include the increase in anxiety and stress in some students when they have to speak in public.
