ABSTRACT

The finding from this study that emotions and achievement have a reciprocal relationship (i.e. that it works both ways) supports previous research in this area. For example, several studies have found that students who experience test anxiety are more likely to perform worse, which in turn makes them more likely to experience more test anxiety. That is to say, a negative feedback loop exists.
