ABSTRACT
This chapter, predictably, covers markets and institutions which are not directly related, although their activities, which include trading in derivatives, come under the heading of financial markets. Gold, which is a physical commodity, is an exception but its use as an investment vehicle allows it to cross the line, so to speak.
