ABSTRACT

The article presents the results of in-situ observations of the reinforced concrete landing support. A metering station with reinforcement force transducers was installed in the landing support. From the outset of the support grouting stress measurements were taken in reinforcement bars installed in the walls and the arch of the working. An evaluation technique for the support concrete stress based on the measured stress in reinforcement bars has been proposed. The procedure takes into account the shrinkage strain and creep of concrete.

The technique has been tested and can be used to measure stress variation in similar underground concrete structures.
