ABSTRACT
The data on the failures and fissures of the earth surface have been collected during the underground coal mining at the Krasnoyarsk section of the mine named after Ruban in Kuzbass. The geological and technological mining conditions are considered. The failure formation mechanism is determined and the most probable causes of their appearance are determined. On the basis of numerical modeling of subsidence process, a prediction method of subsidence parameters, as well as areas of possible failure, has been developed.
