ABSTRACT
The primary rationale for information technology use within organisations is to provide business activities with added power and value in the discharge of their operational functions. Organisations have invested large amounts of money in information systems and technology to improve business performance, with the result that many large data processing functions have been created to support the businesses use of such facilities.
