ABSTRACT
A rapid expansion of the experimentation of accounting computerization was the main feature in this developing stage. The subject of accounting computerization was added to the accounting curriculum in many universities and colleges. Development of commercialized software for accounting applications could be identified as the main element in progress of accounting computerization during this period. The computerization of accounting is a very popular subject in the accounting curriculum at college level and in vocational or part-time training programmes. A number of major difficulties can be observed in the current process of accounting computerization in China. The computerization of accounting will be expanded at a much faster pace, so long as Chinese economic growth maintains its momentum. The manufacturer, Xiangfeng Accounting Computerization Company, introduced its updated Version 9307 and obtained the certificate of approval through a central appraisal in 1993.
