ABSTRACT
This chapter pertains to ethical issues involving mental health issues with children, adolescents, and young adults.It details ethical challenges facing this population especially for the professionals who are providing care.The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Code of Ethics is described and discussed as it pertains to all mental health professionals.Cultural issues, stigma, and a guide for self-assessment are included.
