ABSTRACT
In Part II, we looked at who some of the prominent paleoanthropologists are, the arrival of bipedal apes in the fossil record and how they changed over their 5 to 7 million-years record, and a description of several of the individual hominin species. In this chapter, we will pick up that thread with evolutionary theory to guide us.
