ABSTRACT
Management plays a crucial role in all types of profit and nonprofit business activities. Each enterprise has an organizational structure with various management levels and positions set up according to the actual requirements specific to that company. The configuration of the management in an organization is set up and implemented in accordance with the mission, vision, objectives, and policies of the enterprise. Project management is a specific type of management that has in time been developed for successful execution of projects. Management has vital importance as one of the major ingredients in implementing industrial plant projects. From a theoretical point of view, classifying the management functions as above may look all right. Project manager is, no doubt, the lead actor/actress in implementing projects. Although there are lately quite a number of graduate programs available in many universities and a variety of education programs given by private institutes on this discipline, he or she is actually trained on the job.
