ABSTRACT
Besides logical and mereological terms and symbols the language of our phonological theory will contain certain terms and symbols peculiar to linguistics. First we shall discuss the terms and symbols which are not defined in our system. In order to justify our choice of these primitive terms we will start with some remarks on the procedures of phonological analysis of language (dialect).
