ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the practical and technical aspects of the RRM and how to set about using it in qualitative interviews. Parallels with parent–infant observation methodology are depicted. The importance of ‘negative capability’ and tolerating the uncertainty that goes with it – in contrast to some conventional research approaches – is underlined.
