ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses life cycle assessment (LCA) in relation to economics and business administration. Product process service depends on environmental impact and quantification from evaluation of environmental impact and burden. The build-up method is used at each stage of producing a product focused on energy resources and emissions. It calculates the environmental load by computing and totaling in detail. It clarifies the cause and actual condition of environmental burden. LCA analyzes the environmental impact of products and structures, from procuring raw materials, processing of parts and materials, manufacturing products and structures to construction, demolition, and waste management. Industrial waste is produced during industrial activity, which includes any material rendered useless during a manufacturing process, such as those from factories, industries, mills, and mining operations. Large-scale public works projects have a potentially huge impact on the environment. LCA is a method of evaluating the environmental impact of products and services through eco-efficiency analysis.
