ABSTRACT
Chapter 1 sets the agenda and background for the book. Today we face many challenges that affect us all. These include the ecological crisis and the migration of people across nations. Diversity Icebreaker is a concept and process that has been applied in 70 countries by more than 250,000 people and has a huge potential for creating common ground through the language of Red, Blue and Green. It has been successfully applied in interpersonal, cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary processes. The author has been the pivotal point of this concept’s initiation and use since 1995. In this book, he explains how this concept can be applied to improve communicative processes as well as high quality problem solving and decision-making in even the most conflict ridden and toughest contexts.
