ABSTRACT
The near‐electrode layers of space charge play an important role in the physical mechanism of RFCD. They strongly affect the electrical characteristics of the discharge as a whole and its plasma parameters. The physical processes in the NESCL (near‐electrode space charge layer) directly affect the type and rate of reactions on the surface of the discharge electrodes and substrates in technological plasma‐ chemical reactors.
