ABSTRACT

I would like to be beautiful but I cannot find a dress for myself … I would like to be a caramel.” These are the words of a little girl who could not find a way to represent herself through a costume linked with caramels on the day of a school festival. I understood the desire of this girl to be identified with a good object, “the caramel”, a symbol for love created in Tempo Lineare. This little girl’s words stimulated me to engage all the other children in her group in creating this fairy tale. It is interesting to observe how each of the children contributed to the discussion, which involved creating part of the tale which goes on from those words, “I cannot find a dress for myself but I want to do something about a caramel.”
