ABSTRACT

Douglas is twelve years old and into the sixth year of his therapy. He comes as faithfully as ever, twice a week. He is fond of the entire institute and takes over the waiting room and reception when he arrives. He always arrives well ahead of time because he wants to chat with the staff in reception. He likes sitting in the waiting room until time for his session. On several occasions, Douglas has to stay somewhat longer at school than usual. Douglas has become more organized with regard to his wallet and diary. He has written down the telephone numbers of some of his classmates on a slip of paper, which he carries in his wallet. He previously had only the telephone numbers for his mother's and father's jobs and those had been written down for him by his mother to make sure they were correct. He no longer dials numbers just in any way he remembers them.
