ABSTRACT

"Information is the difference that makes a difference." From the viewpoint of information theory, everything else is random noise. Different inner maps exist from the view of the client's conscious mind, from the view of the therapist, and from the view of the individual inner persons. Inner persons can differ from each other with respect to their capabilities for using their senses. Inner maps can also describe the membership of various inner persons to internal groups and make various functions of the inner persons clear. Inner persons can differ in the functions that they carry out and the degree of freedom they have in perception and presentation of the function. Programs and conditioning differ in the triggers that they install, in the sequences and the progression with which they were implemented, and in the rituals, symbols, languages, tools they use.
