ABSTRACT
Every day, a beautiful rose flies from Kenya, in the company of several tons of other roses, scented and colourful travel mates, heading to Holland. After being transported from Schiphol airport, this immense amount of roses gathers in the largest building in footprint of the entire world, located in the small municipality of Aalsmeer. A feeling of impotence the author had felt about the roses from Kenya and their unspoken price for the whole planet arose from the passive experience of these kinds of porn scenes. Each individual has his or her own part or role in the chain of tasks composing the process/service called “porn”: from the actresses and actors to the camera operator, from the film-maker to the crew, from the webmasters to the distributors. The role of the spectator of a porn video or a series of porn pictures, his duty or job is to watch the video or the pictures, and hopefully to pay for them.
