ABSTRACT

Anger can be made worse by taking stimulants such as tea, coffee, colas, and chocolate, all of which contain caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant, and stimulants are best avoided when people are experiencing emotions such as anger. Because people produce stress hormones when we are feeling angry, this can affect human blood sugar levels, and they may indeed drop dramatically. Alternatively, an excessive amount of some nutrients can speed up people nervous system and this can provide the breeding ground for anger. Potassium, sodium, phosphorus, and copper are just such minerals. Diets that contain large amounts of refined sugars, or are deficient in protein or fat, together with the use of stimulants such as coffee or cola based drinks, contribute to this condition. However, the following categories provide people with a more detailed breakdown of a range of foods that contribute to good physical and psychological health. These are protein, carbohydrates, refined sugar, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc and copper.
