ABSTRACT

Mrs. Greenson painfully recalls the 1970s as a very difficult time for the Greenson family because those years were punctuated with Romi's many hospitalizations. As we have recounted, after a pacemaker implant in 1975, Romi suffered an embolus to the brain with resulting aphasia. She tells how "his determination 'to overcome' and regain his most precious gift was an inspiration to all who knew of his struggle."
