What future, what training? (Thoughts on the training of psychotherapists)

Daniel Widlöcher once said in a personal communication that the question of child analysis seems to have been insistent for such a long time now that either it was not a proper question to ask or at least it was not very well expressed. He was probably correct—but even incorrect questions may deserve proper answers.
