ABSTRACT

In the quest for sexual paths which divert from “ordinary” life and which lead to “extra-ordinary” drive satisfaction, it becomes difficult to treat the other person involved with respect. Everything it touches is degraded—the man, and especially the woman, and sexuality itself. Sigmund Freud, perverse sexuality is part of the sexuality of human beings. Henceforth, sexuality will be under the pre-eminence of the genital zones and of object-relations. Freud said that children were polymorphously perverse because, throughout the normal stages of development, there are manifestations of component instincts and of tendencies that are found in all sexually-perverse adults: Freud interpreted these in terms of fixation at, or regression to, infantile patterns. With the term sodomy are associated homosexuality and violence. Sexual perversion is evocative of a particular kind of orgasmic pleasure, while perversity involves treating other people in a purely destructive way.
