ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book offers a way of using the power of this natural force of dreams in a post-modern, post-industrial setting. The manager is confronted simultaneously by multiple data points, some of which are often unknown to that individual; multivariate data are often ignored while making critical decisions and certainly overwhelm organizational attempts at capturing and utilizing information and the potential knowledge that it represents. The book traces its roots and gives examples of how social dreaming has been used around the world to make the experience of dreaming ordinary, to make dreams part af people conscious, waking life through their appreciation, and to see the dream as being linked to their everyday preoccupations. A dream is a representation of the reality of a dreamer within a context that is arrived at through the work of the brain during sleep.
