ABSTRACT

The contexts have been important in affecting the way the teachers teach by presenting certain limitations and possibilities. The aim is to challenge people’s way of thinking and to give them an introduction or overview of the main theoretical ideas and techniques. The aim is to create a co-evolving system in which the group process can become facilitative. There is more time for the participants to develop ideas and connections between them, as well as listen to each other, share experiences and practise skills. The aim is to create a co-evolving system including more of the participants’ own agency systems. The basic unit of interaction is thus the worker and his/her agency. It is possible in a course over a longer period with gaps between sessions to obtain feedback about how participants are taking new ideas back to their agencies, the effect on their colleagues and any problems they are facing as a result.
