ABSTRACT

The parents' way of dealing with their own bodies and those of the children is bound to correspond to the manner in which they have discussed sexual issues with the children and, particularly, how to deal with the sexuality of other people. If your child is the abused victim, it is important to find ways of helping him/her to deal with the feelings of weakness and failure to stand up against the exploitation by the peer. Just teaching lessons of how to deal with any similar situations is not enough. The fact is that we have very young children spending time on their computers exploring no end of things their parents might not approve of if they knew this was going on. But computers and mobile telephones have become part of every child’s ordinary equipment for daily life. Total control of how they use this equipment is, in practice, impossible.
