ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the experience which originates from a wish to explore the effects of Social Dreaming on people who are inclined to use pre-structured vision of the world, one which reduces the potential for creativity. The experience has been conducted only once, but a new session has already been programmed for the future with the same group of people, as a consequence of the interesting results achieved in the first tranche of work. One characteristic of this experience is represented by the fact that the purpose, or primary task, was always respected without the hosts having to bring the Matrix back to its task. There were only a few instances when participants needed to be brought back to the task to avoid the Matrix moving from dreams to any excessive form of rational thinking, which is most typical when the Matrix strays from the matter at hand and loses its function.
