ABSTRACT

The non sexuated organisms reproduce by mitosis, meaning by division of themselves. Potentially, either of the gametes could perform the two functions; but for some reason, the male gamete has been assigned to be primarily the transmitter of information, while the female has been given the task of nourishment. The human female’s ability to accept the male sexually irrelevant of her fertile period is part of the tactics that encourage each male to stay near each female. A female will also evaluate whether it is better for her to be the only female belonging to a male who is “owner” of a poor territory or the second or third female of a male who is the “owner” of a large and fertile territory. The foetus is nourished by the mother’s blood, and this happens because of the close relation established in the placenta between the embryo’s tissues and the mother’s blood vessels.
