ABSTRACT
I found Dr. Schur's thesis appealing, internally consistent, strongly supported by the facts he put at our disposal, and, above all, in harmony with our clinical experience that it is the very nucleus of the psychopathology of childhood that becomes reactivated in the transference to the analyst and that this transference is therefore most strongly resisted and the last to give way to effective insight.
