The authors introduces that above and beyond the Dialogue of Acknowledgement and the way of thinking, they also need special "vitamins" such as pleasure and enjoyment. These vitamins will help their love stay on track and develop. Enjoyment helps us to keep their defences down. If authors need to break some vicious circle of behaviour, they will need to access all that they know works well in the relationship that they love and cherish. They can do this by using the Dialogue of Acknowledgement, using exercises and daily reminders, and by creating a shared vision of the life they would like to live. Acknowledge their differences instead of allowing them to escalate into a power struggle. Surprises are a wonderful way of bringing new energy into the relationship.
