ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the author provides an investigation, a true detective inquiry, into a crime perpetrated during the primeval era of mankind. He thinks that the argument present in the myth of Adam and Eve renders a violent attack against women: God, a male, creates a man first, and then puts him to sleep in order to bring the woman into existence, an action which obviously reproduces a distorted representation of maternity. Furthermore, Eve thus created, guilty of a satanic seduction, induces an innocent man to sin, and in the end drags him away from the forever lost land of Paradise. Women have accepted the disposition of a male God, the loss of their biological right to procreate, and a “delinquent” condition, by virtue of their acquiescence in a fatalistic, passive, hormonal and masochistic role, to which there is no alternative and from which there is no escape.
