ABSTRACT

A system is an entity made up of parts, not only connected in a mutual relation and interaction, but also able to share a specific aim. Environment, society and any relation or interaction can be investigated as systems; the system emerges from the activity of the structure and by the activity of adaptation to the turbulence and variability of the environment. Dynamic capabilities models in systems thinking could be useful to study the role of sensing, seizing and transforming of organizations in the service ecosystems. Based on these forewords, interpreting dynamic capabilities models on systems thinking perspective seems beneficial for planning future strategies, perceiving the environment from self-perspective and from the specific context by the other actors. Particular capabilities could be useful to system survival in the complexity, perceiving the environment, adapting the value proposition and re-organizing the structure with plasticity; dynamic capabilities could increase the possibilities to perceive the environment and the opportunities to activate relations between the actors.
