ABSTRACT

The best makeups complement the natural facial structure already present. “Bone Structure Makeup” is the first application makeup in the book and focuses on exploring the human facial anatomy. Students will be able to identify their Frontal bones, temples, Zygomatic bones, and jawlines, as well as identify their eye sockets. This is the first practical makeup in the class, so students start working with highlight and contour colors and practice blending. The skills learned in makeup application are a foundation for skills developed in the rest of the course. Terms and details learned in Chapter 3: “Facial Anatomy” first appear in this chapter as they directly relate to the subject makeup.
