ABSTRACT
This chapter’s case study of Operation Beanpot—one of the most successful international narco-trafficking investigations of the last decade—documents how the advantages to organized crime of globalization shrink when law enforcement teams from different countries have trust, concern for the other, unconcern about locating credit and desire to collaborate against a common organized crime group using the tools available to each within their respective countries.
