ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the design and implementation of a massive remote sensing data production system based on the multiple satellite data centers infrastructure, the Multi-datacenter Cooperative Process System (MDCPS). It explains the MDCPS environment and its infrastructures. The chapter also presents a specific remote sensing production process as an example to evaluate the performance of data management and task scheduling in MDCPS. It summarizes the status of distributed remote sensing data processing across multiple satellite data centers and analyzes the reasons for low efficiency in co-processing from the perspective of data management. The monitoring service of task order could effectively monitor workflow status and provide support for workflow fault-tolerance. The workflow template could help achieve the automatic construction of concrete workflow. Workflow management is a key module of the distributed processing system, which determines the reliability and stability of the system.
