ABSTRACT

The first industrial automated laser technological installation Karavella (ALTI) Karavella-1 was developed in the period 2001-2003, the second such class ALTI Karavella-IM - 2008-2012 on the basis of two-channel pulse copper vapour laser systems Kulon-10 and Kulon-20 respectively and precision three-coordinate XYZ tables with personal computer (PC) control. At ALTI Karavella-1, within the framework of technological research and development project Kursor, the technology of contour cutting and flashing holes for the main materials used in vacuum technology was developed. The laser radiation power of ALTI Karavella-IM is 1.5-2 times higher than that of ALTI Karavella-1 and is 20-25 W. The industrial ALTIs Karavella-1 and Karavella-1M constructively consist of three modules: ALTI module, power source rack, operator’s desk with the PC manager. The ALTI module is the most saturated in terms of the number of functional blocks and nodes and responsible for the accuracy of processing.
