ABSTRACT
The enlightened eyes of reason predispose us to look at the world in a particular way. They are quick to classify and judge and their self-asserted authority has bred a dangerous overconfidence. They tend to see only surfaces and they have consistently failed to recognize the depths of human knowledge and accumulated wisdom that have been in plain sight.
