We conclude this book with a discussion on how Big Data is becoming an undeniable and irrefutable part of our lives. Big Data is an essential element of businesses and we cannot ignore that – in fact knowingly or unknowingly most of us are contributing to this revolution as users of devices such as mobile phones, and applications such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter etc. We discuss the key takeaways for practising managers. The C-ADAPT model developed by the authors of the book is going to serve as a template for successful Big Data implementation for managers in the years to come. With the overwhelming amount of data being generated every day, one can safely assume that adoption of Big Data analytics is going to be faster than ever and our readers will find that this book will hold them in good stead once they start practising implementation.
