ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 comparatively revisits the myth and truth about the Nobel Prize-winning geneticist Barbara McClintock so presented in two of her biographies – one by Evelyn Fox Keller and the second by Nathaniel Comfort – and provides yet another interpretation of McClintock’s life and work from the perspective of object relations theories in psychoanalysis and theories of intersubjectivity.
