ABSTRACT

In this concluding chapter, we discuss the lessons that can be learnt from the OMEN project for future research on managing media innovation. However, we will not do this in the form of conclusions that pretend to sum up the essentials of the preceding chapters. Instead of summing up, we will present some broader perspectives that may be an opening for new ways of conceiving what the research results and knowledge from the OMEN project may mean for the media industry and to further media research – in particular media research that seeks to have practical impact on the future development of the media industry.
