ABSTRACT

Prior to the ratification of the twenty-six States, as required by Article 91 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation was established which functioned on 6 June 1945 until 4 April 1947. Standards and Recommended Practices, also known as Standards and Recommended Practices, cover the minimal technical and operational aspects of international civil aviation. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a United Nations specialised agency, having legal personality at an international and domestic level, established by the Chicago Convention in 1944 and headquartered in Montreal, Canada to manage the administration and governance of the Chicago Convention 1944. ICAO is, therefore, an international organisation, without its own or conferred sovereignty powers. Cooperation is extremely important for the development of international aviation and such organisations are very active in the work of ICAO. International organisations, such as Airports Council International and International Air Transport Association are invited to the Assembly and play a significant role.
