ABSTRACT

Marx once stated, "The critique of religion is the prerequisite of every critique." 1 Marx destroyed the Heaven in Faramita even as he intended to establish heaven on earth. He criticized spiritual religions, but created a vulgar, worldly religion. He destroyed the withering flowers decorating religious shackles but failed to get rid of the chains restraining humankind. Instead, he put fresh flowers on them. Only by removing these flowery chains can humankind breathe freely and establish our own unholy home full of humanism. Only by so doing can we say when the new sun rises every day, "I belong to this world. This world belongs to me."
