ABSTRACT

In all the long-range plans for the creation of a post-Adolf Hitler Germany all political groups had been included in the proposed distribution of government power. A representative of German Labor, and a leading Social Democrat, Julius Leber spent many years in Nazi prisons. Wilhelm Leuschner and Leber both were executed after the abortive coup of 1944; Jacob Kaiser was destined to survive. Unscrupulous violators of right and justice have abused their powers and degraded the courts by turning them into tools of state propaganda and henchmen of the executioners. "National Socialism exemplified deification of every kind of brutality that could serve its purpose. Dr. Carl Goerdeler's plan for the churches included self-determination and self-administration as well as the separation of church and state. The Reichs Government rejects the idea of any exclusively state-sponsored youth organization.
