ABSTRACT

The arguments and evidence presented in this book provide a unique and previously unseen look at the world of campaign managers and political operatives in the United States. The book discusses how several basic areas of campaign practices are influenced by political consultants and how these influences are often not captured in political science. The relationship between a political consultant and their candidate is like an incredibly intense Vegas marriage. This book has shown that where you are after the primary or the middle of the election influences your chances of success. So the author decided to look a little bit closer at the winners and losers. The author break them down into two categories, those who were ahead in the polls after the primary who ended up losing their races and those who were behind in the polls after the primary and ended up winning their races.
